GVA has been appointed to source a strategic partner for Peabody’s iconic Thamesmead Waterfront site, in London’s new town, Thamesmead.
The leading real estate adviser has been advising Peabody on its multi-billion-pound regeneration programme which looks to bring the Thamesmead Waterfront scheme to market in Q3 2017.
In total, the comprehensive development of Thamesmead will deliver over 20,000 new homes and create thousands of new jobs in not only the largest regeneration project in London but one of the largest in the UK. Situated in north Thamesmead – an area that will benefit greatly from the proposed DLR extension from Gallions Reach in 2026 - , Thamesmead Waterfront forms part of the wider planned development and will deliver a new community of 11,500 homes, a revitalised new Town Centre as well as new leisure and commercial facilities.
