GVA, along with fellow sponsors Muckle LLP and Turner & Townsend jointly hosted a breakfast seminar on 22nd June at the Tyneside Cinema. The seminar which was attended by 140 clients from the property, development, construction and professional sectors was chaired by Roger Speirs, Director, GVA, Newcastle.
The speakers examined the changing face of Tyne and Wear, focusing on some of the key regeneration projects across the region. These included Tom Baker, Associate in the Planning, Development and Regeneration Team at GVA, Newcastle who looked at key projects which have shaped Newcastle over the last 10 years and other key projects for the future.
Tom Warburton, Director of Investment and Development at Newcastle City Council gave a detailed insight into Science Central, one of the Newcastle’s most exciting partnership regeneration projects. John Seager, Chief Executive of Siglion Projects provided an insight into the wide range of regeneration projects being brought forward across the City of Sunderland.
This was the first of a new series of joint seminars between GVA, Muckle LLP and Turner & Townsend. Others are planned to take place at the same venue on Thursday 28th September and Thursday 30th November 2017.
