The knowledge economy is a key component in the government’s plans to boost regional growth.

Advanced manufacturing, life sciences, creative, digital and technology have all been identified as sectors that will realise the economic potential of the UK’s regions and their cities.

The Leeds City Region is made up of 10 Local Authority districts and is the largest economy in the UK outside of London. Our report looks at region’s existing and targeted knowledge economy sectors, the key infrastructure and support networks that will enable these sectors to grow, and the key commercial property developments that will support this growth.
